What is a Job Profile Description?

The Job Profile Description is designed to sit above any live jobs you have listed on our jobs board and is a great place to explain what its like to work for your nursery and any benefits you offer.

Some information to add could include:

• A brief overview of your nursery
  • How many children you are registered for
  • What type of care you offer
  • Your location
• What are your company values?
  • What are your priorities?
  • What is your culture?
  • How does this tie in with being an employer?
• What benefits do you offer?
  • What is your working environment like?
  • Do you offer any perks?
  • Are you close to transport links?
  • Do you offer any training/qualifications?

Things to remember:

• The ideal length of a Job Profile Description is about 100 – 150 words
• The description must be written in the third person – ie. They/Their not I/We
• Ensure the name of your nursery appears in the text
• No website links, email addresses, telephone numbers and addresses can be included
