It puts a face to a name – seeing staff members on your profile immediately makes it much more personal and knowing a bit more about the person you are about to contact puts perspective parents at ease.

Display your team’s credentials - Adding Meet the Team is a great way to show off your team. Each person can have a bio where they can explain their experience, qualifications and passion for early years. This is extremely comforting for potential parents and shows their child they will be in good hands if they choose your nursery.

Show how much you care for your team members – A good Meet the Team Profile can show how much you value each member of the team and their role within your nursery. This is key not only to potential parents but to future employees, and helps to promote a family atmosphere to work in.

For a good profile, consider including some or all of the following in the Description:

How many years of experience they have in early years

Their qualifications

Other positions they’ve held in the sector

Their proudest achievements in their current role

Their ethos and particular interests

An example of a team member bio could be:

Coming from a big family, I always knew I wanted to work with children. I completed my Level 2 NCF CACHE Diploma for Early Years Practitioner in 2019 and joined the Bubblegum Nursery team. I’m now studying for my Level 3 Diploma part-time, the manager has supported me so well to make this achievable. In my spare time I’m a keen artist and love being able to use my skills to help the children’s creative development.

When you’ve added your team members’ profiles you can change the order the appear on your profile by dragging them to different positions.
